Black Forest Latte

Black Forest Latte

The Ingredients:

  • 1.5 oz (45ml) chocolate syrup, or Creme De Cacao liqueur
  • 1.5 oz (45ml) raspberry flavored syrup or Kirsch Liqueur
  • 2 oz (60ml) hot, freshly brewed espresso or strong coffee
  • Steamed milk
  • Whipped cream, garnish.

The Method:

  1. Pour the chocolate and the raspberry syrup into a 12 oz (340 ml) latte mug or cup.
  2. Add the espresso
  3. Fill the rest of the cup with steamed milk
  4. Stir once around, lifting up the syrups from the bottom of the mug
  5. Top with whipped cream.

Variation:

Drizzle half a teaspoon of raspberry syrup on top of the whipped cream and sprinkle with chocolate curls. Place a cherry on top.
